About the Devine Formula
The Devine formula was originally developed for medical use to calculate drug dosages. It provides an estimate of ideal body weight based on height. The formulas are:
- Men: 50 + 2.3 × (height in inches - 60)
- Women: 45.5 + 2.3 × (height in inches - 60)
